LILLY POND FOAL RESCUE FUNDRAISER

Dr. Molesworth hosted a fundraising event for Lilly Pond Foal Rescue, located in Dunkirk, Maryland. Sharon Hancock, Founder, has raised orphaned foals for the past six years. She also rescues other equines of all ages.

Lilly Pond Rescue currently has five foals, all around 4 months old, and they were all here at Fresh Meadows for the fundraiser. Also at the event were several horses, miniature horses and a mule all of which are available for adoption. Their website is LillyPond.info.

It was a very successful day. Just over 300 people came out to see the horses and enjoy the day. There were pony rides (on the rescued horses), facepainting and horseshoe painting for the kids. There were riding demonstrations, a "Dunk Tank", a silent auction, vendors and good food. Another great day for the family and the rescue horses at Fresh Meadows.
