Pfizer Animal Health's
"PreventiCare" program, an equine-wellness program that partners veterianarians and horse owners to improve your horse's health and performance.
By enrolling in the "PreventiCare" program and following its guidelines you not only begin a well-structured, veterinarian-supervised preventive care health care program for your horse but your horse may qualify for the added benefit of the "The PreventiCare Colic Assistance Plan".
The PreventiCare Colic Assistance Plan will pay up to $5,000 in surgical costs and three days of aftercare should your horse require colic surgery.

There has been a change in the PreventiCare enrollment/re-enrollment process. As of April 15, 2009, there will be a nonrefundable, $50 annual fee per horse, which will be paid when the horse is enrolled or re-enrolled online.
